Information

  • Submission and editorial team assessment of the manuscript are free of charge.
  • An article processing charge (APC) applies to accepted articles (for manuscripts submitted after June 1, 2026).

Payment shall be made after receiving official notification that the manuscript has been accepted for publication. This charge has no impact on manuscript selection, peer review, or editorial decisions.

Waiver policy

Discounts and waivers

  • The following article types are published free of charge: opinion, commentary, discussion, information, brief report, erratum, letter to the editor, and special article.
  • Reviewers who provide a high-quality and timely peer review receive credits that can be used to partially cover the cost of their own future publications.
  • Authors lacking the financial means to cover publication fees may request a discount or full waiver. This request does not affect the editorial evaluation of the manuscript. Waiver or discount requests must be submitted to the editorial office before the peer review process begins.
