Results and plans: annual meeting of the Consortium PSYCHIATRICUM Editorial Board
On the eve of the New Year, the Consortium PSYCHIATRICUM Editorial Board held its traditional annual meeting. The meeting brought together members of the Editorial Board — staff of the Mental-health clinic No. 1 named after N.A. Alexeev, scientific editors, and representatives of the "Eco-Vector" Publishing House.
Chaired by Editor-in-Chief Professor Georgy P. Kostyuk, the participants reviewed the Journal’s key performance indicators and defined priority goals for 2026. Among the key priorities discussed were strengthening engagement with international media, increasing transparency of editorial processes, and optimizing manuscript review timelines.
Key achievements highlighted during the meeting included:
- The share of original research articles and reviews in the Journal’s portfolio increased from 62% to 68% over the year.
- CiteScore Tracker rose from 1.7 to 2.5 as of December 2024 and December 2025.
- According to the Scopus ranking based on the SJR indicator, the Journal ranks 1st among Russian journals in the categories Medicine: Psychiatry and Mental Health, Public Health, Environment and Occupational Health, and Psychology: Clinical Psychology.
In the Medicine category overall, the Journal ranks 3rd among Russian journals. - Over the year, articles by 131 authors from 10 countries were published.
- The Journal was included in the Unified State List of Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals (Level 1), RSCI, and HEP Journals.
- Leading Russian media outlets (TASS Science, the Russian Science Foundation, Russia Today, RIA Novosti, among others) mentioned the Journal 80 times when covering published research.
- Consortium PSYCHIATRICUM has made science even more accessible: the Editorial Board has launched podcasts on Yandex.Music, and accounts on Substack and BlueSky have been opened for international audiences.
