Update to Editorial Policy on the provision of Raw Data
The journal Consortium PSYCHIATRICUM has updated its editorial policy regarding the provision of raw data upon manuscript submission.
When submitting a manuscript, authors must specify in the additional section of the article — the "Data Sharing Statement" — whether they will grant access to the raw data for readers, the editorial team, and reviewers.
Raw data refers to any information used (by borrowing) or obtained (collected or created) during the creation of a manuscript. In a research article, this constitutes patient data (questionnaire results, demographics, parameters); in a review, this constitutes references and a structured description of the sources that were analyzed; in a case report, this constitutes patient data.
Raw data must be strictly anonymized, meaning they must not contain any direct or indirect confidential information about patients.
Publishing raw data and describing them correctly:
enables independent verification and reproducibility of results;
increases trust in the study's findings;
increases the visibility of the work and its citation rate;
minimizes the risks of ethical and publication violations.
The editorial team has prepared a detailed guideline "Raw Research Data", which is available for reading and download.
We also specifically recommend reviewing the Author Guidelines and the Editorial Policy, where new provisions have been added in accordance with this update.
