Important Update to the Journal's Editorial Policy
Starting June 1, 2026, Consortium PSYCHIATRICUM journal will introduce a mandatory Article Processing Charge (APC) for publishing articles. Payment does not influence manuscript selection, peer review process (speed, quality, or number of reviews), or editorial board decisions.
Payment terms and conditions
- A fixed fee of $1200 is to be paid by authors whose manuscripts have been accepted for publication by the editorial board.
- Payment is accepted from both legal entities and individuals.
- The new rules apply to manuscripts submitted to the journal on or after June 1, 2026.
Waivers
The editorial team does not view publication fees as a barrier to disseminating important scientific results. Individual discounts or full fee waivers are available for authors who lack sufficient funding. Requests for discounts or waivers should be sent to the editorial team before the beginning of peer review process. The decision will be made within 10 business days.
Reviewer Bonuses
Those who provide timely, high-quality reviews will receive bonuses that can be used toward the APC for their own future publications.
Charge-free Publications
The following article types are published free of charge: Opinion, Commentary, Discussion, Information, Brief Report, Erratum, Letter to the Editor, Special Article.
Granting a waiver has no impact on the editorial evaluation of the manuscript.
Please feel free to contact editorial team with any questions regarding APC at editor@consortium-psy.com
