Call for Papers: Special Issue "Molecular psychiatry"

Dear Colleagues,

The editorial team of Consortium PSYCHIATRICUM (Scopus: Q2; PubMed) is pleased to invite submissions for a forthcoming special issue on molecular psychiatry.

We welcome contributions from researchers, clinicians, and neuroscientists exploring the multi-omics approach to psychiatric disorders.

Submissions may include original research articles, systematic reviews, clinical case reports, and expert commentaries.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

— genetics, genomics, and polygenic risk in psychiatric disorders;
— epigenetic mechanisms in psychiatry;
— neuroinflammation, microglia, and immune mechanisms;
— pharmacogenetics and novel therapeutic targets;
— neuroplasticity and synaptic dysfunction;
— the role of the microbiome in psychiatric disorder development and treatment.

The submission deadline is October 1, 2026.
The issue is scheduled for publication in March 2027.

Publication is free for the authors.
