A new issue of Consortium Psychiatricum has been published

Posted: 04.04.2024

The first issue published in 2024 contains articles by researchers from Russia, Mexico, India, Hungary, and the UAE.

The issue presents the results of two original studies. In one of them, Russian researches discuss the self-stigma in patients with endogenous psychiatric disorders. In another one, Mexican researchers describe gender differences in patients who have had violent suicide attempts.

The Case reports section presents three articles. One of them describes a rare Dhat syndrome, which occurs in residents of South Asian countries.  Another case report describes atypical manifestations of cannabis withdrawal syndrome, and the third one tells about successful restoration of personal identity in a female patient who had become disabled after traumatic brain injury.

The “Special articles” section describes the history and specifics of outpatient psychiatric care in different countries: in this issue, readers can learn about outpatient psychiatric care in Hungary.

Moreover, the online version of this spring issue of the journal contains an interview in which female psychiatrists and psychologists discussed what inspires them in their profession and gave recommendations to young female doctors.
