New Issue: Youth Mental Health

The last Consortium Psychiatricum issue of the year 2022 has been published. The new thematic issue focuses on the mental health of the younger generation: children, adolescents and youth.
Early detection of mental disorders and organization of care for children and adolescents in crisis are among the priorities in healthcare. Most of the materials in the issue are devoted to these questions. The issue features original research, commentary, information and special articles.
The information article describes the experience of the Crisis clinic at the Mental Health Center for Children and Adolescents of providing care to children with suicidal behavior; it is the largest such institution in Russia. M. Ivanov, I. Boksha, E. Balakireva, and T. Klyushnik in their epidemiological study evaluate the risk of developing mental development of developing mental, behavioral, and developmental disorders in children. N. Ustinova and her co-authors study the prevalence of autism spectrum disorders in Russia, and A. Razvaliaeva and N. Polskaya focus on predictors of self-harm types among young members of online communities.
The section on outpatient psychiatry around the world describes the experience of Japan and New Zealand.
